FALON SIERRA SUSHI / SAMBA
Falon Sierra is a self-professed singer, songwriter, tomboy and princess from Seattle. Hard to pin down, her music takes influence from jazz, R&B and pop, and is sewn together by the use of left-field electronics. This year, she's released two singles 'Back It U / P One Time (Freestyle)' and 'What's Wrong!?!?'. She's just dropped another track 'Sushi / Samba', alongside a stripped back acoustic version. The full version sees click-clack beats, with ominous electronic loops, and Sierra's catchy R&B vocals that sing 'I'll be bad for you if you want me to'. The track is intersected with background noises of British girls talking about Sushi Samba, giving an unusual surrealist element. You can listen to 'Sushi / Samba' here. -Ellie Rose-Davies
